Nest Collection (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website located at nestcollectionco.com (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.

We collect only two categories of information from visitors:
a. Contact Form Submissions
When you submit our contact form, we collect the name, email address, and message you provide. We use this information solely to respond to your inquiry. We do not sell, rent, or share this information with third parties for marketing purposes.
b. Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic and usage patterns on the Site (for example, which pages are visited, how long visitors stay, and the general geographic region of visitors). Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to collect this information, including a randomized identifier, IP address (anonymized where supported), browser and device information, and pages viewed. We do not use Google Analytics to identify individual visitors.

2. How We Use Information
- To respond to inquiries you send through the contact form.
- To understand site usage in aggregate so we can improve content and design.

3. Cookies and Consent
Analytics and embedded maps are off by default. No analytics script, map embed, or non-essential cookie loads until you actively choose to allow it in our cookie banner. Declining leaves the Site fully usable. We do not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking, and we do not sell personal information.
a. Essential (always on)
- nc_consent_v2 — stores your cookie choices, the date of your choice, and the policy version, so we don’t ask again. Set by us, stored in your browser, expires after 12 months.
b. Analytics (only with your consent)
- Plausible Analytics — privacy-friendly, aggregate page-view counts. Cookieless by design; the script is only loaded after consent. Provider: Plausible Insights OÜ.
- Google Analytics (
_ga,_gid,_gat) — aggregate traffic measurement with IP anonymization. Provider: Google. Cookie lifetime up to 24 months; we delete these cookies if you withdraw consent.
c. Maps and embedded content (only with your consent)
- Google Maps embeds on our contact, beaches, and harbor pages. Google may set cookies and receive your IP address when a map loads. Until you allow it we show a placeholder with the address and a plain link instead. Provider: Google.
d. Fonts and other assets
All fonts, images, and stylesheets used on the Site are served from our own servers. We do not load fonts or scripts from Google Fonts or any other content delivery network, so no request is made to a third party simply by viewing a page.
e. Changing or withdrawing your consent
Select Privacy Preferences in the site footer at any time to change or withdraw your choices per category. Withdrawing consent immediately unloads the analytics scripts, deletes their cookies, and returns maps to placeholders. Your stored choice expires after 12 months, at which point we ask again. Most browsers also let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers that help us operate the Site (such as Google Analytics) and only as needed to provide their services. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our legal rights.
5. Data Retention
Contact form submissions are retained only as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and maintain a reasonable record of correspondence. Google Analytics data is retained according to the retention period configured in our Google Analytics account.
6. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. To make a request, email us at miles@nestcollectionco.com.
7. Children’s Privacy
The Site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us so we can delete it.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect the information we collect. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised. Material changes will be reflected by updating that date.
